my practice
People come to see me because they have a problem. Often, they feel stuck. I help individuals, couples, and groups become more aware of what they are experiencing so they can lead more satisfying, meaningful, and creative lives.
Both coaching and psychotherapy are a studio for the soul, nurturing greater awareness in a spirit of openness, non-judgment, and deep listening.
Psychotherapy offers a deep dive into ourselves. It is an opportunity to explore, grow, and move beyond repetitions that aren't working for us. I provide psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy to adult and adolescent patients, with a focus on identity, relationship, and creativity issues.
Coaching offers a strategic, practical approach for understanding and resolving a specific, concrete problem. It is shorter term than therapy. Issues I have assisted clients with include team cohesion, goal setting, project organization, relationship conflict, grief, and recurring dreams.
